Why was I born?  What’s life all about?  What brings real joy and happiness in life?  What is this eternal life that God’s given me?

What is eternal life?


These questions express the core of everything for which we are searching.  Your responses to these questions will determine how you live each day.  For example, if you say power and wealth bring joy and happiness, you will spend your life pursuing power and wealth.  If you say that you were born to be wild, you will spend your life partying.  

Read John 17:3 and write it down word for word.

Read Philippians 3:7-10.

Only one thing is worth investing your life in; only one thing delights the heart of God. 

Look up Jeremiah 9:23-24.

What is the only thing worth boasting about?

Apply it: Write a note to God, expressing your gratitude to Him and your desire to know Him.


The only way you can get to know God is to spend time with Him.  As you take time each day to be with God, your view of Him will explode into a changed life.  You will see God like never before!  Fall down on your knees each day and worship at His feet!
